Tom Lehman led a prayer service in memory of Darren Clarke's wife Heather just before the start of the US PGA Championship in Chicago.

The service was held at 0630 by the Medinah club house and was attended by a large gathering of players, wives and girlfriends, caddies, coaches, officials and media, all mourning the loss of the 39-year-old to cancer last Sunday.

American Ryder Cup captain Lehman, a committed Christian, was asked to conduct the ceremony and said he was " honoured to do so".
